All you need to know about quality deck design, installation & materials

The Timber Decking and Cladding Association (TDCA) is an independent organisation. We are a technical and advisory body that operates on a not for profit basis. We provide decking advice including guidance on how to correctly specify and install timber decking and timber decking care and maintenance.   The organisation also has a cladding sector.  This website is all about timber decking. If you are interested in timber cladding please visit Timber Cladding Home

We advise you to use DeckMark accredited materials and / or professional installers to help ensure that your timber deckdeckmark-product-logo.gifing is long lasting and durable. DeckMark is the quality scheme operated by the TDCA. Please go to the suppliers section to access a list of DeckMark approved wood decking companies.

Our deck calculator app provides deck builders with a quick and simple means of quantifying the materials needed to produce a pressure treated softwood deck. Aimed at professional and DIY installers, the app can be downloaded free from iTunes.
